This manga recounts the tale of Hatshepsut, a lady who ruled effectively over Egypt for a long time. She marries her half-brother Thutmose II, ensuring his rise to Pharaohhood, when she is a young woman. Hatshepsut is a strong-willed woman who is not going to accept the limitations that others might try to impose on her because she is a woman.
